Emily Henderson has one of the most relatable style in interior design. Her looks are easily achievable and her blog and book, Styled, shows you how to get it. She does a great job of blending a couple of high end pieces with some lower end products from Target and the flea market- just two of her favorite sources from among many. And she has a relatable personality. If you’ve been following her blog, then you know how she is with her sense of humor (love it!). While keeping it all professional (with the exception of a few personal moments), she keeps it light, fun, and a joy to read.
Every home needs a good entryway- a fantastic welcoming spot as soon as you walk through the front door. It needs to be a well-rounded spot. Not only does it need to be personalized to you (as a place to drop off keys, mails or to kick off your shoes, whatever it is you do at the front door), it needs to make your guests feel welcomed. It needs to give them hints as to who you are and of what the rest of the house will be like.
It’s been way too long since I’ve been back on here, blogging. Sorry about the disappearance, like MIA kind of disappearance. So much for keeping my New Year’s intentions of blogging twice a week. I’m to figure out a routine to get back on track. It’s a little tricky when I’m trying to housebreak Kali. Keeping her in the living room is best where as she has way too much stuff she could get into in the office. The best solution? Getting a laptop. That’s some portable stuff right there. However, a few things on WordPress looks different, so I’m going to need to get my husband to give me a little tutorial.
