When I get obsessed with something, I get rather obsessed about it and there’s nothing I love more than a good vignette. I’m always re-arranging mine until I’m satisfied. Sometimes I’m at it for a couple of days. In case you’re not familiar with the term, a vignette is a grouping of items artfully arranged- a snapshot of your life. A vignette gives away the little details about you and your life, so it’s pretty important what you decide to put on display. After all, a home reflects who you are, whether it’s as an individual or as a family.

It’s getting real, y’all. House hunting is about to seriously happen and I’m dreaming of houses.

None of these are by any means exactly what I’m looking for or will be getting, but because they’re inspiring. And unfortunately, these lovely classic Charleston homes (see photo above for an example) are way too far out of my price range.

My Cabin Fever Muse 9.16.16

I’m ready for a weekend getaway and have been searching for a nice looking cozy, pet friendly cabin in the North Carolina Mountains. Needless to say, I’ve got cabin fever right now because I’m loving everything cabin- rustic, wood, texture, huge windows, and coziness.

My Summertime Muse 8.5.16

Summertime might almost be over, but it ain’t over til it gets chilly. I’m not usually one to hold on to summer, but this one just seems shorter this year and I’m not ready yet to admit how much time has passed by. So for the time being, let’s soak in the pool under that hot sun and dine alfresco!
