One Room Challenge: Spring of 2017

Every year there’s a contest where 20 blogger get together for a contest. A contest to make over at least one room in 6 weeks! Can you imagine the stress? I’m a slight prostincator, so, yeah, I’m imagining that.

One Room Challenge. 20 Bloggers. 6 weeks.

But, man, are the results worth it! Sometimes we all need that push to get a room done and get some of that eye candy in our homes. Here’s a few of my favorites:

Not only do I love the blue and gray color combination done by Censtational Girl, I’m dying over that corner fireplace. And her lumbar pillow. And her ceiling light fixture… click here for more.

Top Ten: Inspired by Costa Rica

I’m still dreaming about lush rainforests and crowd-less beaches. We just bought our airplane ticket from Delta via Skyscanner for a much better deal than I would have gotten from AAA. Like a little over $600 better. Anyway, let’s not get our blood boiling over that. Here’s a few fun things regarding Costa Rica.

Favorite Finds: One Room Challenge

I love following up on the One Room Challenge(aka ORC). It’s a great way to see what all goes into designing a room and to get different perspectives on how people handle this process. It’s also amazing to me to see how people’s vision comes together, particularly when I have trouble seeing some of their visions when they bring up design inspirations, but luckily, almost all of them turn out great!

In case you don’t know about ORC, this was orchestrated by Linda at Calling It Home, to gather 20 designer and participants to design one room in 6 weeks. When you’re doing an entire makeover, that’s a pretty tight deadline.

Anyway, I wanted to share my top favorites.
