Partial Hallway Reveal

As you will have gathered from the title of this post, I’m not quite ready to do a full blown out reveal of my entry hallway. A few more tweaks still needs to happen to reach my desired effect, but for now, I’m pretty satisfied with this set up/vignette. Without further ado, here’s my partial hallway reveal!

Book Club: Styled by Emily Henderson

Emily Henderson has one of the most relatable style in interior design. Her looks are easily achievable and her blog and book, Styled, shows you how to get it. She does a great job of blending a couple of high end pieces with some lower end products from Target and the flea market- just two of her favorite sources from among many. And she has a relatable personality. If you’ve been following her blog, then you know how she is with her sense of humor (love it!). While keeping it all professional (with the exception of a few personal moments), she keeps it light, fun, and a joy to read.

My Muse: Vignettes

When I get obsessed with something, I get rather obsessed about it and there’s nothing I love more than a good vignette. I’m always re-arranging mine until I’m satisfied. Sometimes I’m at it for a couple of days. In case you’re not familiar with the term, a vignette is a grouping of items artfully arranged- a snapshot of your life. A vignette gives away the little details about you and your life, so it’s pretty important what you decide to put on display. After all, a home reflects who you are, whether it’s as an individual or as a family.

Katie Rosenfeld Design

Katie Rosenfeld is my interior design animal spirit. She injects fun patterns and colors in to every single one of her design projects, which is something that I aspire to do. A lot of her designs have a global flair, particularly when she infuses a lot of Asian influence and some chinoiserie.

Design That Domaine: Styling Vignettes 

Rearranging is a little bit of a normal occurrence around here. When I get bored with things, I’ll move it around, give it a new home and freshen things up. I’m always trying to experiment with what looks good in a vignette, or a group of things. Here’s a peep of what’s been keeping me busy.
